Xbox 360, PS3,Wii keep sales momentum at Ebay

Sales for Nintendo Co.'s Wii, Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3, and Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 all posted double-digit gains this week in the latest retail data from Ebay.

Wii held a 13 percent gain in sales volume in a two-week period to hold as the No. 1 Most Popular video game hardware at the auction site. The week prior it held a 16 percent increase in sales. The Wii carried an average sale price of $417.76.

The PS3 held a 12 percent gain in sales volume in a two-week period to hold as the third Most Popular console offering. The hardware held a four percent gain the week prior. The PS3 carried an average sale price of $430.47.

The Xbox 360 held a the largest gain among consoles at 23 percent to hold as the No. 2 Most Popular game hardware. Last week, it held a 16 percent gain in sales. The Xbox 360 carried an average sale price of $300.63.

Wii has sold 4 million units, compared to the Xbox 360 at 6.3 million at the PS3 at 1.75 million sold in the U.S.
